OBJECTIVE: 1.1.7 Apply strategies and uses tools to complete tasks involving addition and subtraction of integers and the four basic operations on non negative decimals and fractions.1.2.5 Use formulas to determine measurements related to circles, triangles, and rectangular prisms. 1.5.1 Apply knowledge of linear relationships to recognize, extend, and/or create patterns in tables and graphs. 3.1.1 Analyze numerical, measurement, geometric, probability, statistical, and/or algebraic information from a variety of sources. 4.2.2 Represent numerical, measurement, geometric, probability, statistical, and/or algebraic information in graphs or other appropriate forms ACTIVITIES/ASSESSMENT: Pp49-52 4.1 and 4.2.
1) Do part a from 4.1 and 4.2 all on one grid. (i.e., make tables and a graph for 50mph, 55mph and 65mph)NOTES: Handouts for 3.4 and 4.1/4.2 HOMEWORK: Study formulas
2) Do 4.1b and c on all three graphs/tables;
3) do 4.2 b and c for all three graphs/tables;
4) do 4.2d for ALL THREE SPEEDS;
5) do 4.2 e and f for all three speeds.
