Online Plotter - a handy tool to make graphs.
Download WinPlot - a Free graphing program...
Graphit - a Free online graphing program...
This is a program for those who cannot or do not want to download WinPlot You must enter the operations in the function. For example, if you are entering the expression 3x-4, you must use the operation keys like this:
The keys are: Addition = + Subtraction = - Multiplication = * Division = / and raising to a power like x² would be x^2

1. HOMEWORK Due today: Any Unfinished What's the Point' A-F
2. Warm-Ups: Measure Drills w/sheets Measure Units Ladder
3. Test completion (Unit 4 3rd time + WASL 9&16)
4. Any unfinished P62 Prob 5.1 (Sheet + Questions)
OBJECTIVE: 1.5.2 Apply understanding of linear patterns in a table, graph, or situation to develop a rule; 1.5.4 Apply understanding of equations, tables, and graphs to represent situations involving linear; relationships; 1.5.5 Understand and apply procedures to evaluate expressions and formulas considering order of operations 1.2.1 Analyze how a change in a linear dimension affects other linear measurements (perimeter, circumference) and area measurements. 1.2.3 Understand how the unit of measure affects the precision of measurement. ACTIVITIES/ASSESSMENT: Class will review the A and B answers from problem 5.1. They will need to be sure they have finished copies of Page 65#3 and #4. they will have some class time to work on the 3rd attempt at the test for material up to Investigation 4 and the WASL practice questions for the Test over Investigation 5 . These assignments are way overdue - students need to make them up. NOTES: HOMEWORK: Page 62 follow-Up Problem #11.

3. Refresh: Coin toss/dice roll - See HLII for parameters
OBJECTIVE: 1.4.1 Understand the concepts of complementary, independent, and mutually exclusive events 1.4.2 Understand and apply the procedures for determining the probabilities of multiple trials 1.2.1 Analyze how a change in a linear dimension affects other linear measurements (perimeter, circumference) and area measurements. 1.2.3 Understand how the unit of measure affects the precision of measurement. ACTIVITIES/ASSESSMENT: Coin toss/dice roll -students will toss coins and roll dice and do combinations to refresh the notion of determining simple probability. Tables will be kept. Computer simulations will be used after the experimental portion to show the reulsts for larger numbers. NOTES: Be sure to include the notions of MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE and COMPLEMENTARY events. 4. WDYE Enrichment. Construct and play a fair game with two events.
OBJECTIVE: Credit Retrieval. ACTIVITIES/ASSESSMENT: Students with less then passing grades will be provided the opportunity to complete missing work for credit. Alternate Assignment:WDYE Enrichment. Construct and play a fair game with two events. Play the game 25 times and record the data. Explain how the data shows that this game is fair. NOTES: HOMEWORK:
