OBJECTIVE: •To understand how the dots are arranged on isometric dot paper and how this arrangement allows cube buildings to be drawn from corners •To visualize the relationship between the angles of an actual cube and an isometric drawing of a cube •To copy existing figures onto isometric dot paper •To construct buildings that fit isometric drawings and make isometric drawings of cube buildings •To use 2-0 isometric models of cubes as design tools •To develop strategies for reading an isometric drawing and constructing a building that matches the drawing •To observe similarities and differences in buildings produced to fit isometric drawings.
