that in order to make a graph that shows the relationship
between two variables, you need to identify the two variables,
choose an axis for each, and select an appropriate scale for

ACTIVITIES/ASSESSMENT: Do the Math Fact Drill. Review/Introduce
variables and coordinate graphs - Notetaking required. Start on
Problem 1.1 page 6 in the Book 'Variables and Patterns' NOTES:
Math fact mastery is demonstracted by a score of 95% or 100% on
3 consecutive testing days. Be sure each student has a data
set. HOMEWORK: Define TABLE and COORDINATE GRAPH both from the
book and in your own words also P14 #5 (due Wednesday)

paper to reproduce the information presented in the text, i.e.,
a 1st quadrant graph. Continue with 1.2 on the reverse side of
the graph paper. Student need to use rulers to draw lines.
