OBJECTIVE: •To review locating points in a coordinate system
•To graph figures using algebraic rules •To predict how
figures on a coordinate system are affected by a given rule •
To learn that corresponding angles of similar figures are equal
and that corresponding sides grow by the same factor[1.3.1] •

(this is for the 4 quadrant WASL requirment) HOMEWORK:
Dot-to-Dot picture
A dot-to-dot puzzle is a line that starts from point one and continues to the end without lifting the pencil from the paper. Each "dot" or point is to be located on the intersection of lines on a piece of graph paper. All lines must be straight. Straight lines have only two points - one on each end. A new line is started when the direction changes. Your picture must have a minimum of 30 points. Try to avoid going back and forth over the same line. Remember, you cannot lift your pencil and start again at some other point! The following restrictions apply: No designs, initials, logos, or space aliens. Pictures must be obvious from their appearance

2. -Coordinate Set..
OBJECTIVE: 4 Quadrant graphing{1.3.5]. ACTIVITIES/ASSESSMENT:
Distribute Progress Report #8. Students will locate the points
of their dot to dot drawing by making a list of the coordinates
on a SEPARATE sheet of paper. NOTES: HOMEWORK: Finish
Coordinate chart as appropriate.
