OBJECTIVE: Proportion/Scale Factor/similarity ACTIVITIES: Wrap
up text information on proportion. Introduce the room
sketch/scale drawing project exercise. Have students sketch
their bedrooms to include the location of windows and doors.
NOTES: *Calculators strongly recommended HOMEWORK: Make a
SKETCH (no graph paper) of a birds eye view of your bedroom or
personal area showing the location of doors and windows (NOT
furniture). The sketch is to fit on a sheet of notebook paper.
Measure walls, windows, doors, etc. to the nearest ½ inch or
centimeter.
