why they are similar #To understand that any two similar
figures are related by a scale factor, which is the ratio of
their corresponding size #To build a larger, similar shape
from copies of a basic shape (a rep-tile) #To find rep-tiles
by dividing a large shape into smaller, similar shapes #To
understand that the sides and perimeters of similar figures
grow by a scale factor and that the areas grow by the square of
