Students need:
  • 1. a calculator (scientific preferred, but any kind will work for most of the class)
  • 2. a ruler in their notebook
  • 3. adequate pencils and a small sharpener
  • 4. graph paper
  • 5. a red pen or pencil

NOTES: Spend some time on generating situations for y = mx and y = mx + b HOMEWORK: 2365÷34 and 5792÷67 longhand - show all steps.
