OBJECTIVE: Construct a line perpendicular to another line
(8-1B, Pp301ff) ACTIVITIES: Students will start with the
basic geometric constructions of constucting a congruent line
segment and constructing a congruent angle. Then the lesson
for today will focus on constructing two styles of perpendicula
lines - perpendicular to a point on a ine and a point not on a
line. Emphasis will be on CONSTRUCTION as opposed to drawing
and/or sketching. DRAWING OR SKETCHING WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY
